Taking advantage of this, the annual Mount Street Gardens summer Fair brings all the elements of a traditional summer Fete to the center of London. 2. Picnic and deckchairs in Green Park

With the summer months comes glorious sunshine and plenty of London blooms. Green Park has acres of green grass with deep borders jam packed with colour, perfect for picnics, afternoons playing and generally enjoying the sun. 3 . London Landmarks with Prudential RideLondon FreeRide

Brilliant for all the family, FreeRide is an 8-mile circuit that takes in all the major sites, from Buckingham Palace and The Strand to St Pauls via Waterloo Bridge. There aren’t many times that even young ones can enjoy cycling on traffic free roads in central London! There are also festival Zones along the route with a wide range of activities and refreshments to keep you going. Bikes are available for hire, just ask at Reception. Register for the ride here.

4. Art in Mayfair

Mayfair Art Weekend (June 30 – July 2) brings Old Masters and cutting-edge contemporary art together; a wide range of exhibitions, tours and workshops with experts will bring history to life.
