If lockdown has taught us anything, it’s that keeping children entertained is no mean feat! But with Green Park on our doorstep, we know that the great outdoors really is a treasure trove for the curious that just begs to be explored. So, peel your little ones away from their screens and encourage them to look closer at the wonders of the natural world with the help of our free downloadable activity sheet.

Or for those with a little more time on their hands…

Build a mini hotel for a woodland friend – Gathered materials such as twigs, leaves and moss create a dry, cosy spot for tiny creatures to sleep inside. Just be sure to build it in a quiet area that’s out of the way, where it won’t be trampled!
Play ‘Nature Bullseye’ – Create a circular bullseye on the ground using woodland debris before each taking turns to throw your ‘dart’ – it could be a pinecone or stone – the winner is the adventurer who gets their dart the closest to the center.
Art Attack: Outdoor Edition – Get creative and use nature’s utensils to create a masterpiece (just remind your little ones not to pick flowers so others can enjoy them and bees can have something for dinner)!
