The Tower of London for centuries has been guarded by the Yeomen Warders or better known as ‘Beefeaters’ and has been a place symbolising fear and awe during history. As kings and queens lived in this palace for 500 years, and have been storing their royal possessions at the Tower, it has also been a place where royalty had imprisoned their enemies and rivals.
