Alexandra Palace Fireworks Festival

30th October 2019

An evening that marks the attempt by Guy Fawkes to blow up the Houses of Parliament on 5 November 1605, Bonfire Night is now a London tradition. With bonfires, sparklers and fireworks aplenty, this is a time to spend a crisp evening enjoying the spectacle of all the festivities.

Coram’s Fields

Taking place on Friday 1 November, this fireworks display is hosted in an incredible location in the heart of Bloomsbury. The event is free – but bring a donation if you want to support the children’s charity organising the display.

Battersea Park

Just a hop across the river, this fireworks display in one of London’s best loved parks takes place on Saturday 2 November this year. Watch the huge bonfire light up before the fireworks launch, then head to the after-party in Battersea Power Station to make a night of it.

Chiswick Park

This charity fireworks event on Thursday 7 November also offers the opportunity for brave visitors to walk across burning hot embers before the fireworks kick off! There will also be pre-show entertainment for the children and a variety of food stalls at the event.

Southwark Fireworks Night

Hosted on Guy Fawkes Night itself, this event in Southwark Park is one of the largest fireworks displays in London. Buy tickets in advance to enjoy the event, which includes a children’s funfair and entertainment as well as fireworks galore.

Ally Pally’s Fireworks Festival

This epic fireworks festival takes place throughout the weekend of 1 and 2 November, attracting revellers from far and wide. As well as fireworks displays, the event also plays host to a German beer festival, film screenings in a restored Victorian theatre and a fairground.

City Cruises

Soak up the spectacle of Bonfire Night from the water on a River Thames cruise. Setting sail from Westminster Pier on Saturday 2 November, City Cruises will offer you an alternative vantage point to watch the Battersea Park fireworks while sipping bubbles!
