The city’s famous zoo might not usually be considered one of the top London Christmas attractions, but that is set to change this year with the London Zoo Light Trail. After dark until 1 January 2019, a magical one-mile route will light up to give you a glimpse of the zoo like you’ve never seen before. The experience culminates in the Light Vortex, with a canopy of more than 100,000 pea lights overhead. There will also be hot chocolate, mulled wine, roasting chestnuts and a vintage carousel.
