Here’s a selection of events and activities going on nearby for London National Park City Week:
This day walk and talk sets off from Shakespeare’s Fountain in Leicester Square at 10:30 on Thursday 26 July. A nine-mile circular walk, this event takes in everything from Trafalgar Square and Parliament Square, to Tower Bridge and Covent Garden, with a stop at the foodie favourite Borough Market for lunch. It’s possible to only do part of the route if you prefer.
This three-mile evening walk sets off from the National Gallery at 19:00 on Friday 27 July. Take in the exhibition of Henry Cole – the early US conservationist – before walking over the Millennium Bridge and exploring London’s Urban Forest.
