“There are so many historical parts of London I love. Burlington Arcade has was the world’s first shopping arcade, and original telephone boxes are a must-have photo. You can find 2 of the first boxes outside the RA on Piccadilly. The entrance of Fortnum & Mason is one of my favourite spots with a story: above the entrance is a clock flanked by two sentry boxes and on the hour, 4ft replicas of Mr. Fortnum and Mr. Mason come out and bow to each other.”
“My favourite place is Richmond Park, especially at sunrise. The trees, the deer and the mist make it a magical place. A piece of the countryside within London.”
“Neal’s Yard, near Covent Garden is VERY Instagrammable, as is Peggy Porschen cakes for families in Belgravia. The Royal Albert Hall is one of my favourite buildings and they offer tours which are really interesting. In terms of restaurants, Circolo Popolare is fabulous to photograph.”
“I took this photo last summer in St James’ Park, it’s a great spot to see Buckingham Palace with the water in the foreground – simply beautiful.”
“One week a year, the streets of Chelsea are transformed for ‘Chelsea in Bloom’ with shops, pubs and restaurants creating their own stunning floral displays. This year, it takes place from 20-25 September, so I would definitely recommend a stroll along the King’s Road during that period. I also think St Pancras promises the most stunning welcome to the capital, particularly with the addition of Tracey Emin’s neon light”
