Espresso Martini Recipe
In celebration of International Espresso Martini Day, our Head Bartender, Alex, shares his version of the classic cocktail using some of our favourite ingredients.

London Cocktail Week has certainly captured the attention of the city, growing from 5,000 to 45,000 visitors in six years. Starting as a pop-up in Selfridges, with 50 bars in the tour, it has grown year-on-year, proving that London really is the capital of cocktail culture. Perhaps one of the biggest parties of the city, the week includes workshops and tours to give imbibers the knowledge of the fizz and the pop of the most sophisticated of drinks.

Exclusive for London Cocktail Week only (2nd-8th October 2017), we will be serving the ‘East of Eden’ in collaboration with Our/London Vodka. This inventive cocktail includes a mix of Our/London Vodka, Lazzaroni Amaretto, Rinomato Aperitivo topped with East Imperial Yuzu Tonic.
The bar features the Athenaeum Hotel’s famous whiskey collection and serves Signature Cocktails created by renowned Italian bartender Giancarlo Mancino. Born in Italy, Giancarlo has 20 years in the beverage industry and trained with Master Bartender Cory Campbell (famous for training Tom Cruise for his role in the movie Cocktails).
The heart of London Cocktail Week is at Old Spitalfields Market where the pop-up cocktail village features a maze of bars, experiences, food and workshops. This vibrant celebration of the capital’s cocktail culture forms a hub for cocktail lovers to sample new products and try unique food pairings.
