Our bartender Giovanni Castorina shares his latest cocktail creation.

Resident bartender at The Athenaeum, Giovanni Castorina, has a true talent when it comes to creating the perfect drink for any particular occasion. This recipe is perfect for the warmer months with the use of summer berries.
For this seasons signature cocktail called Queen’s Garden, Giovanni combines raspberry puree, Fair vodka, and fresh lime juice topped with two drops of plum bitter to stir up the taste buds.
And with this cocktail being recently featured in Pride of Britain, Giovanni never stops delighting us with his true spark of creativity and talent!
RECIPE FOR ONE:
Ingredients:
45ml Fair vodka
25ml raspberry puree
20ml fresh lime juice
20ml sugar syrup
10ml Crème de Mure
2 drops plum bitter
2 raspberries
Small bunch of lavender
Method:
Place the vodka, raspberry puree, lime juice, sugar syrup, Crème de Mure and plum bitter in a cocktail shaker and shake.
Serve in a Large President glass, and garnish with two raspberries on a cocktail stick, along with the bunch of lavender.
