Cross Westminster Bridge and find somewhere for lunch along the Southbank, right by the River Thames. There are plenty of restaurants and food stands to choose from, and at various times of the year, there are food markets too.
2pm:
Choose an activity or two to complete your day out in London. Along the Southbank, take a trip on London’s larger than life enclose Ferris wheel, the London Eye. The London Dungeon and SEA LIFE London Aquarium are on the same stretch of the river too – ideal for scaring yourselves silly or surrounding yourselves with spectacular tunnels of fish. Alternatively, go on Shrek’s Adventure – an immersive adventure where you’ll meet Puss in Boots, Pinocchio and Shrek himself. Or take in a matinee show in London’s theatreland – The Lion King, Wicked and School of Rock all have matinee showings a couple of times a week.
