Our luxurious Townhouse Residences are located in Victorian red-brick townhouses adjacent to the hotel. Emblematic of the Mayfair locality, Townhouse Residences offer modern London living from buildings rooted in history. Each 550 ft²/50 m² Townhouse Residence is accessed via your own front door, with the possibility of discreet internal entry to the hotel too.

With colour schemes inspired by original mosaic floors in the townhouse entryways, our Townhouse Residences incorporate designs and furniture pieces that celebrate the best of British craftsmanship. Together with carefully curated art, classic textures filled with heritage and innovative lighting, Townhouse Residences exude a homely yet stylish feeling of warmth.

A PLACE TO CALL HOME

Our Townhouse Residences come fully equipped with a kitchenette stocked with Joseph Joseph accessories, a dining alcove and a spacious living area with B&B Italia sofas and a generous-sized, bespoke desk. Separate bedrooms have either a King bed or twin beds, dressing tables and bed-side tables by English furniture-maker Julian Chichester. For those travelling as a family, a sofa-bed or bunk bed can provide more sleeping space in the lounge.

Classic marble or exquisitely tiled bathrooms are entered by grand double doors and incorporate large walk-in showers with rainfall and handheld shower heads, smart toilets by Roca, underfloor heating, heated towel rails and non-steam mirrors. Townhouse Residences also come with an ironing board, hairdryer, safe, 110V and 240V plugs, individually controlled air conditioning and complimentary Wi-Fi. In addition, Townhouse Residence guests have access to 24-hour in-room-dining.

Adjoining Townhouse Residences can be made interconnecting on request, making them ideal for families, groups and long-term stays.

The Athenaeum is without a doubt one of the best hotels in the world and its apartments are outstanding - truly a home away from home. Time and again, my family and I, as well as associates recommended to the Athenaeum by me, have stayed there and enjoyed its friendly hospitality from John and Jim, the doormen, to the concierge desk manned by Allen and Darren, to the restaurant staff and porters. You will not find a friendlier lot.

Excellent hotel with friendly, efficient staff. Room well appointed and quiet even though on busy Piccadilly. Location super as I wanted to go to the West End and Theatre. Also well located for London sightseeing.

We had a wonderful stay here with our three young children. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and to get to know our children. The location was wonderful, the food delicious and the service was amazing. The rooms were quite nice and comfortable as well.
