Can I check in early / late
Of course. If you’re eager to begin your stay or fancy a gentle lie-in, we can arrange an early check-in or late check-out, subject to availability. Please call Guest Services to arrange.
What time is check in / check out?
Check-in is from 3:00pm. If you arrive earlier, we’ll happily look after your luggage while you stretch your legs or settle in with a coffee. Checkout is at 12 noon, giving you a relaxed start to the day.
Are dogs welcome at The Athenaeum Hotel?
We are delighted to welcome small dogs by prior arrangement. We simply ask guests to agree to and sign our pet policy ahead of their stay. Guide dogs are warmly welcomed throughout the hotel, and our team is always happy to make your four legged companion feel at home.
How far is The Athenaeum Hotel from the Tube?
Green Park station is approximately a five minute walk, Hyde Park Corner is less than seven minutes on foot.
Do you offer serviced apartments or residences?
Yes. Our one-bedroom Residences offer all the comforts of home paired with the ease of hotel living. California king beds, fully equipped kitchens, and twice-daily housekeeping make them ideal for longer stays or extra privacy, all with your own front door in Mayfair.

Are the Residences suitable for families with children?
Absolutely. The Residences are designed with families in mind, offering generous living space and fully equipped kitchens that make day-to-day life easy. Bedrooms can be set up to welcome little ones comfortably, with bunk beds available for children, giving everyone space to relax and feel at home.
Is parking available near The Athenaeum Hotel?
While we do not have on site parking, we are pleased to accommodate guests at the nearby Sheraton Grand car park, just a short stroll from the hotel. Charges are typically £55 per vehicle per day.
