When you stay in one of The Athenaeum’s 18 private Residences, everything is in place to help you settle in from the moment you arrive. You have your own private entrance, a fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine and inclusive minibar, and separate living and dining spaces where you can relax or entertain. High-speed Wi-Fi, underfloor heating, twice-daily maid service and a washing machine take care of the practical details, while access to the spa and fitness facilities adds a welcome moment of calm. Absolutely. The Residences are designed with families in mind, offering generous living space and fully equipped kitchens that make day-to-day life easy. Bedrooms can be set up to welcome little ones comfortably, with bunk beds available for children, giving everyone space to relax and feel at home.

Afternoon tea at The Athenaeum is available daily from 12 noon to 5:30pm.
Your afternoon tea includes a selection of handcrafted sandwiches, warm scones with classic jam and clotted cream, and beautifully crafted sweet pastries inspired by the hotel’s iconic living wall and the nearby Royal Parks. A range of additional upgrades is also available, including bottomless Prosecco and our signature tea blending experience, allowing you to tailor your afternoon to suit the occasion.
Yes. You can upgrade to the tea blending experience, where you’re guided through up to 45 bespoke ingredients to create your own custom tea blend, paired with a welcome cocktail while it’s brewed.
