Starting at £70 per person, the traditional afternoon tea features unlimited teas and sandwiches. Options include Maldon Cured Smoked Salmon with horseradish crème fraiche, Coronation Chicken with fresh coriander on khobez bread and Singaporean Kaya Eggs on overnight sourdough. After indulging in warm scones, served with Tiptree jam and English clotted cream, enjoy our nature-inspired sweet fancies, carefully displayed cakes on a stand resembling a blossoming tree, feasting on Matcha and Yuzu Cheesecake, Mimosa Cake, Forest Rose Tart, and Strawberry and Cream Cake. Each season, Executive Chef Kevin Fawkes and his culinary team craft a delicate fondant fancy as a nod to this timeless classic.

The ritual builds on the hotel’s ethos of “Stay Individual”. Guided by our team, guests explore 45 bespoke ingredients — crafted by renowned Master Tea Blender Alex Probyn — including English-grown tea from Cornwall by Tregothnan, and seasonal botanicals like cherry black, coconut fruit and rose petals. After a few thoughtful questions, your perfect blend is revealed.
The blending experience package includes a unique cocktail that builds on the seasonal flavours of the afternoon tea dining experience, while your tea is delicately blended, with both an alcoholic and non-alcoholic option. To include the blending experience upgrade, Afternoon Tea costs £85 per person.
For those who prefer savoury to sweet, this afternoon tea is for you! From £50 per person, enjoy our homemade sandwiches, Lincolnshire Poacher Cheddar scones and a selection of savoury pastries and cakes including Quail ‘Nduja Scotch Egg, Devils On Horseback & Asparagus & Cobble Lane Bresaola with Truffle.

Upgrade your afternoon tea experience with bottomless prosecco. Enjoy a selection of sandwiches, cakes, pastries and traditional scones with free flowing prosecco for 90 minutes for an additional £20.
A lighter version of the classic afternoon tea, cream tea includes traditional homemade scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry jam, served with your choice of artisan tea and priced £10 per person.
Bookings made by 4th May for the Fancies & Foliage Afternoon Tea blending experience will be booked at the existing price of £45 per person. The offer must be booked by the 4th of May 2025 and redeemed by the 31st May 2025. Quote “Fancies” on your booking.
