The Athenaeum has just been shortlisted for best Large Hotel of the Year in the Visit London Awards. Results will be announced in November 2009.
Our gorgeous Whisky Bar is one of only two bars in the UK to have won an award for Great Whisky Bars of the World. The awards are run in association with The Macallan.
The UK Tea Council's event is the 'Michelin Star' of the tea world, when world-famous London hotels and tearooms compete for the coveted honour of recognition. The Athenaeum was ranked so highly for outstanding quality and consistently high standards for Afternoon Teas that the Council gave us a Special Award of Excellence.
